Passenger Reveals Cruise Ship’s ‘Secret Spot’ With Breathtaking View

A cruise ship passenger decided to go exploring and stumbled upon a stellar view that other guests had no idea about.
Joel, who hails from Switzerland in Europe, was onboard the MSC Musica cruise ship when he decided to explore.
“I found a public balcony that is not indicated on the deck plan,” Joel told Newsweek.
In a video Joel shared to TikTok, viewers see him opening an unsuspecting door from one of the ship’s hallways, revealing the balcony that has a view over the very front of the ship.
Viewers can see what appears to be a hot tub right at the front of the boat as well as uninterrupted views of the sea ahead. Joel’s discovery went viral on TikTok, with the video racking up over 2 million views since it was posted on November 2.
“POV [point of view]: You found the secret spot on the cruise ship,” Joel wrote in the text overlay of the video. Meanwhile, he said in the clip’s caption: “I finally found it!”
“I found it because I saw from the outside that there has to be a balcony and I was wondering how to get access there,” he told Newsweek.
Joel is one of the many people who choose a cruise for their vacation. The cruise ship industry has grown significantly over the last few years.
According to Statista, 35.7 million people around the world are expected to have gone on a cruise in 2024 before the year is out. That is up from 31.7 million in 2023 and 20.4 million in 2022.
Meanwhile, it is projected that in the year 2027, around 39.4 million passengers will enjoy a cruise. The Caribbean, Bahamas, and Bermuda are among the world’s most popular cruise ship destinations.
Joel’s video received quite the reaction, with hundreds of people taking to the comments section to share their thoughts.
“Can we talk about that little hot tub?” said a TikTok user with the moniker A Guy. Meanwhile, Tupinthon wrote: “I found a similar spot on the Ruby Princess.”
“I’d cry so much! I’m off for my first cruise in December and I am absolutely buzzing,” Jessie Borghini commented.
Sarah Jane shared: “Last cruise I was on, my room was one of the windows over looking that deck! We went out there a lot.”
Other commenterssuspected that the small pool seen in the video, which many guessed is a hot tub, was for crew members only.
